We are looking for a ADT Manual Tester to join our growing team in Argentina!
Job description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mid-level proficiency and a strong ability to quickly learn new applications. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential to your success in this role.
Profil recherché:
Must-haves
1. 3-5 years’ experience in Functional Manual Testing
2. Experience utilizing AI prompts and validating agent output
3. Experience testing multiple applications and components within the same project/client (ie, reasonable resistance to context-switching)
Responsibilities:
* Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
* Develop and execute test scripts based on project User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and specifications.
* Identify and document software defects and retest defects once fixed.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.
* Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
* Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
* Ramp up on business application knowledge quickly
* Provide input into the design and improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
* Identify and test edge cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and uncover potential issues that may not be captured by the acceptance criteria alone.
* Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to gain clarity on User Stories and gather additional information to enhance the testing process.
* Proactively communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather feedback on test cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and backlog refinement, to contribute to the refinement and improvement of User Stories.
* Ability to locate the test data, create new or modify existing data
* Perform back end data driven testing
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
