Cloud Assurance Architect (Cloud Infra, App, Data + Risk Profiling + AI)
Role Summary
Responsible for defining cloud assurance frameworks and risk-based test strategies across cloud infrastructure, applications, and data layers. Ensures cloud solutions are secure, resilient, performant, and compliant through automation-first, cloud-native, and risk-driven validation approaches.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect cloud assurance strategy across Infra, App/Service, and Data layers.
* Build risk profiles (business, operational, security, migration-related) to guide test scope.
* Define risk-based cloud test strategy across functional, performance, security, and compliance areas.
* Validate cloud configurations including IaC, IAM, policies, resiliency, APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
* Drive cloud-native automation and integrate quality gates into CI/CD workflows.
* Assess cloud migration types (Rehost / Re-platform / Refactor) and map risks to cloud models (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS / FaaS).
* Define cloud quality metrics (coverage, mitigation %, elasticity, defects, compliance).
* Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Security, and Data teams.
* Use LLM-based tools and GitHub Copilot for:
* Test script acceleration
* Documentation generation
* Troubleshooting & analysis
Required Skills & Experience
* 10+ years in QA/automation; 3+ years in cloud assurance or cloud test strategy.
* Strong hands-on experience in AWS / Azure / GCP.
* Expertise in API/microservices testing, cloud infra validation, performance & security checks.
* Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), observability, and cloud compliance.
* Understanding of cloud migration methods and cloud risk models.
* Experience with AI-assisted tools (LLMs, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity.
