As an Environmental Emissions Analyst, you will be responsible for performing Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 Green House Gases (GHG) Emissions calculations/estimations associated with the supply chain in the transportation sector, conducting audits of GHG Insetting and Offsetting Projects, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge with any current, upcoming or changes to global environmental sustainability policies. You will work in close proximity with transport operators and logistics service providers, ensuring that their data and processes are aligned with selected framework. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing procedures for EU regulatory verification for highly emitting industries (such as ETS 2 and CBAM) and global ESG reporting (such as CSRD).Key ResponsibilitiesPerform GHG emissions calculations/estimations for sea, air, and road transport scenarios (including low carbon initiatives).Conduct assurance audit of Carbon Insetting and Offsetting Projects, platforms and registries.Support development of tools, processes and collaterals for CBAM, ETS2 and CSRD verifications.Perform verification and pre-verification audits related to CSRD, ETS 2 and CBAM.Regulatory surveillance of different schemes and frameworks.Maintain knowledge base when it comes to global environmental sustainability policies. Minimum qualifications requiredA relevant degree in Environment, Aviation, Engineering, or Business.Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Ability to understand, analyze and summarize policies.Basic knowledge of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 Emissions.Basic knowledge of environmental offsets and offsetting projects.Knowledge of CBAM, CSRD, EU ETS and various market-based regulations targeting emissions.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Motivated to tackle new challenges.Strong business ethics and ability to maintain independence and objectivity.Preferred skillsConsulting/Auditing experience (quality, environment, operations, etc.).Experience in policy research/sustainability projects.Knowledge and preferably an experience in working on projects involving Insetting, Offsetting, and the Framework such as Gold Standard, GLEC, VEERA Etc.Knowledge of ISO 17029 on independent verification / validation and its sectoral application to ISO 14065 (Green House Gases).Knowledge and experience in Life-Cycle Assessment and evaluation of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 Emissions, and ISO 14083.Experience in the transportation sector in emissions management.IT proficiency.What we offerA job with a meaningful purpose and a powerful missionThe opportunity to be part of an international scale-up companyAn attractive remuneration package commensurate to the stakes of the role, with profit sharing (intéressement) after one year of service.
