We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing team!
Location - Remote (Argentina/Mexico)
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience
Must Haves:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle.
- Databases (SQL, PL/SQL for Oracle).
- Proficiency in using testing tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Able to understand the client requirements, effectively communicate and highlight the blockers [if any], and share the status of the deliverables with client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed test plans and test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Perform functional, regression and integration testing for web applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
- Well versed with .Net console applications, web services and Angular UI web applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to the creation of test scenarios. Script the test cases by analyzing the user stories.
- Maintain and update testing documentation for ongoing projects.
- End-to-End testing, Smoke, Sanity and Regression Testing.
- Able to work independently with no/low support.
- Exposure to Automation Testing.
- Preparing metrics.
- Debugging issues.
