What You Will Do:
* Identify and log SW defects on the platform through Structured, Exploratory, and Regression Testing.Review, Analysis, and test case creation
* Test case maintenance in compliance with software evolution, requirements, and traceability tracking
* Detailed analysis of reported problems, bug analysis, bug verification, and tracking.
* Perform regular reviews and conduct retrospection meetings to achieve high-quality results.
* Independently handle both Vehicle testing and bench testing request.
* Collaborate with various test teams to improvise and evolve existing test strategies.
* Identify, plan, and perform manual and automated software testing.
* Perform session-based exploratory testing.
* Identify, plan, and perform endurance-based testing or life testing to verify functionality over a long period of ignition cycles.
* Identify software issues and transfers problem issues into the issue tracking system with supporting log files and data.
* Record, process, and analyze data with PC-based tools and test instrumentation.
* Provide technical support for the resolution of various customer and interdepartmental issues on an as-needed basis.
* Participation in internal and external test drives with customer participation
What You Need:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other similar specialization
* 3+ years Testing experience.
* Good understanding of Embedded System and Automotive Products.
* Good understanding of Automotive Infotainment systems.
* Understand the SW and HW architecture of various platform variants.
* Have a good understanding of the technical aspects of a wide range of equipment, including computers, software, and hardware.
* Good knowledge and understanding of the different Telematics domains like OTA, GNSS, E-Call, Positioning, 4G/5G, Wifi
* Good knowledge of Diagnose protocols UDS, SOVD
* Good experience in system test methods, processes, error management and tools.
* Familiar with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and database administration tools
* Knowledge of standard industry communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc
* Team player skills with a “can do” attitude.
* Understanding about diagnosis topics of a vehicle and about diagnostic communication protocols used in electronic control units.
* Knowledge of the V-model software development process
* ISTQB Certification and ASPICE knowledge
* Programming knowledge is a plus.
What is Nice to Have:
* Working knowledge of Android and Linux
* Experience in Agile/SCRUM
* HW experience with configuration different setups
* Knowledge in ALM is beneficial.
* Experience in Python testing
